ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted!<\/p>\n

Please note that your abstract submission will become effective only after registration and full payment of the conference fees!<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 Browser Requirements: Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 5.0 or higher, Chrome 16
\nor higher are required.
\n\u00b7 Cookies need to be enabled
\n\u00b7 All pop-up blockers should be turned off<\/p>\n

GENERAL<\/strong>
\nAbstracts can only be submitted online via the online abstract submission form that can be found in the section \u201cabstracts\u201d on the official NSV 2015 website.<\/p>\n

Abstracts must be submitted in English
\nAbstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.<\/em><\/p>\n

DEFINITIONS<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 Submitting author: Person who physically submits the abstract
\n\u00b7 Presenting author: Person who will physically present the abstract at the congress and who is marked as the presenter in the program<\/p>\n

RULES<\/strong>
\nFailure to observe these guidelines may result in disqualification.
\n1. Click on \u2018\u2019Registration and abstracts submission\u2019\u2019 and follow instructions as given.
\n2. Abbreviations should be defined.
\n3. The abstract cannot contain more than 2\u2019000 characters (blank spaces and punctuation included).
\n4. The abstract has not a mandatory structure.
\n5. If you have successfully submitted your abstract, a confirmation number will be given at the end of the submission. If no confirmation number is indicated, the abstract cannot be considered as successfully submitted and accepted.
\n6. Abstracts are accepted on a wide range of topics. The submitter has to select the right topic for the abstract on the submission form. Available topics are:<\/p>\n

\n–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Antiviral response
\n–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Host pathogene interaction
\n–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pathogenesis
\n–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Vaccines, antivirales and therapeutic viruses
\n–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Natural and unnatural virus evolution<\/p>\n

7. Submitted abstracts can be re-edited and modified until the submission deadline (April 1, 2015, 23:59 CET). Therefore, the author submitting the abstract will be required to provide his\/her email address as the login and a preferred password during the submission. To save the abstract, all required fields (marked with a *) must be filled in. If you leave the system without having provisionally submitted the abstract, all data is lost. The submitted abstracts cannot be edited after the submission deadline (April 1, 2015, 23:59 CET).
\n8. Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors. No corrections are possible after the submission deadline. The abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done.
\n9. If you need to withdraw your abstract, a written statement reflecting the reasons for this decision must be sent to: nsvabs@mci-group.com<\/a><\/p>\n

PRESENTATION OF ABSTRACTS<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 Abstracts can be accepted as oral or poster communication.
\n\u00b7 The Abstract Grading Committee will select submitted abstracts and determine whether they are accepted for oral or poster presentation.
\n\u00b7 If your abstract is accepted, you will be requested to be available for discussion during the corresponding poster viewing session.<\/p>\n

\u00a0GENERAL REMARKS<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 Abstract submission will become effective only after registration and full payment of the conference fees!
\n\u00b7 Submitting Authors will be notified by mid-May 2015 whether their abstract has been accepted, and they will be informed at the same time about the date, time and form of their presentation. All notifications will be sent out to the email address given on the submission form.<\/p>\n
