Application
This course is limited to 18 participants. Applicants will be selected on the basis of a motivation letter (max. 1 page) and their CV. Please also provide a letter of support from your supervisor. Note that priority will be given to junior researchers, namely PhD students and postdocs.

Registration
Registration fees (500 €) include admission, course materials, lunches, coffee breaks and a social dinner. Payment should be made after acceptance to the course, which will be announced no later than May 26th, 2025. Participants must book and pay for their own accommodation and travel expenses.
Application for an IUPAB Bursary
IUPAB Bursaries are available for students from outside Europe and with a preference for students residing in countries and territories consisting of all low and middle income countries eligible to receive ODA, as defined by the OECD here.
The IUPAB travel Bursary Application Form can be found at IUPAB.ORG. Evidence of any necessary visa application should accompany the application.
The closing date for applications is April 13th, 2025. Notification of the outcome of the application will be confirmed no later than April 28th, 2025.
Reduced fee
A reduced registration fee (400 €) is reserved for PhD students enrolled in the Italian National Doctoral School in “Innovation in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infections at epidemic-pandemic risk” (max two applicants).
