The conference will take place at the Accademia dei Fisiocritici, a historic scientific institution located in the heart of Siena. Founded in the 17th century, the Academy represents an ideal venue for a scientific multidisciplinary conference.
The Aula Magna, inaugurated in December 1816, features the cenotaph of the anatomist Paolo Mascagni, busts of figures linked to the Academy’s history, and a 19th-century meridian line running across the floor. Renovated in neoclassical style, it is enriched by the fresco The Triumph of Science.
